ISE Donates Flooring to Pet Rescue

Every once in a while, in business, you get the chance to help an organization improve their ability to help those in need. We got the chance to do just that on August 23, 2012, for Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption, founded in 2011 by Danielle Reno, “a licensed non-profit rescue group saving  the lives of homeless pets and striving to improve the image of bully breeds in society.”

In order to meet state inspection codes and keep their doors open, Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption were mandated to replace the flooring in their facility on Broadmoor in Mission, Kansas. Melissa McMillin, Board Member and Treasurer at Unleashed, reached out to Interior Surface. We were able to donate the flooring in the amount of $1,440.00 and help this important organization keep their doors open and continue their efforts to pull “unwanted” dogs out of high kill shelters and find forever homes. According to their website, “As of February 2012, Unleashed has been instrumental in rescuing over 300 animals from high kill shelters!”

Since this is a non-profit organization, they rely on people to foster and adopt the dogs that come to their shelter and to donate in kind gifts to keep the doors open and functioning. Go to Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption at www.unleashedrescue.com to see the list of items they need and, more importantly, the dogs that still need homes.

We, at Interior Surface, appreciate your time and philanthropic interest!
